Test Engine MK 1

TEST ENGINE MK 1

Laminr's first engine for nozzle testing - MK1 - demonstrates our ability to rapidly design and produce a capable rocket engine. Designed and built with ease of setup and transportation in mind, MK1 is compact, modular and can be assembled and hot-fired in just a few hours.

With a thrust output of 25,000N (25kN), MK1 will simulate commercial rocket engine flight environments for dynamic nozzle testing.

TEST ENGINE MK 2

Laminr is currently developing a second, more capable engine for future nozzle hotfire testing - MK2.

The MK2 is expected to be a significantly more powerful and compact test engine for more realistic propulsion conditions while maintaining simplicity and ease of operations. The MK2 is expected to produce between 50kN and 100kN of thrust while achieving a chamber pressure of ~10MPa.

We expect the MK2 to be completed and operational by the end of 2025.
